Who We Are
Our journey began with a legacy of courage and sacrifice at sea.
My father’s brother, John Brake, served aboard the USS Indianapolis during World War II — a ship whose story became one of the most tragic and heroic in naval history. After successfully delivering the atomic bomb to Tinian Island, the Indy was struck by enemy torpedoes and sank in the Pacific. Of the more than 1,200 crew members, only 316 survived after enduring five harrowing days in open water.
I was named in his honor — a daily reminder of the bravery of those who risk their lives on the water and of the importance of being prepared for the unexpected.
That legacy inspired the creation of AAA Mariner, a company dedicated to providing reliable marine equipment, safety gear, and accessories to help others navigate the sea with confidence.
